At the heart of the Festival is its large community of enthusiastic and committed Festival Volunteers who selflessly give up their free time to make sure that our audiences have a top class festival experience.

Selected through an application process, each year sees new and returning volunteers offering their services to the Festival. Volunteers comprise all ages, occupations and nationalities and generously lend themselves to staffing various departments and venues for the Festival period. They can be found everywhere from the lobbies welcoming the patrons, to assisting with back of house duties with box office and production, to liaising with our guests in hospitality.

Be part of ADIFF

Volunteering is a fantastic way to experience the cinematic celebration that the festival brings to Dublin each year, and presents a wonderful opportunity to gain first-hand experience of  how an event of this scale is managed and organised. But not only this, volunteering becomes a community that lives beyond the festival, evolving into both social and professional circles in the arts in Ireland.

How to Apply

Don’t get left at the side of the red carpet, help celebrate the story and share the adventure. The application process will open in December.
