Throughout the festival, each evening L. Mulligan. Grocer is offering a three course menu celebrating the films of ADIFF. Each course is inspired by one of the festival’s features. 

Starters include My life as a Courgette, a dish celebrating the mighty cucurbit with marrow & coriander fritters served with piccalilli, or Spring Jam: a dish of the first vivid pink shoots of forced rhubarb cooked down into a jam served alongside wedges of ‘Sir’ Jack McCarthy’s black pudding. 

For the main course, we pay tribute to Louis & Luca - The Big Cheese Race with a smoked mac & cheese made with three farmhouse Irish cheeses and topped with either cheesy free range chicken or crispy miso marinated tofu. For those who favour a meatier option our Hey Deer! burger pairs Ballinwillin Farm venison with a house made beetroot bun.

Desserts take inspiration from the movies Cloudberry and Snowtime! comprising a Swedish inspired pavlova crowned by winter berries and a trio of white chocolate and iced lemon bon bons.

The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for the last one hundred years. Pop down the steps at No.22 Stephen’s Green and discover Urchin, the newest addition to the Cliff Townhouse dining experience. Urchin is a fresh, new venue that imbues a laid-back seaside hangout. The subtle beach-chic décor, blissed out soundtrack, day to day menu and full bar offering create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The fun of dining at Urchin is the adventurous daily changing menu at various price points. The kitchen will continue into the night, staying open as long as the bar does, making this a perfect spot for a late night supper in town.

Dishes are cooked to order and available from the open kitchen hatch include sea urchin, sourced from Beara Peninsula, Irish Wagyu alongside Fresh Irish Skate and an Oriental Slaw with a Ponzu Jam on Banana Leaf, fresh made Choux Buns dipped in Caramel, Minute Marinated Scallops, Pork with Yoghurt and Mint, Beech Mushrooms in a lettuce cup.

We are delighted to offer a special cocktail menu, designed by our mixologist to all ADIFF goers.

Urchin is open from 12 noon Fri, Sat, Sun and from 4pm Mon – Thurs inc until late.

Serving lunch and dinner 7 days per week, with the kitchen open late into the night. Join us for a drink and a bite.
