ADIFF TV Day 9 | We Are Moving, BAI Screentest: Explicit Content, Pat Redmond Photo Exhibition, Time

On Day 5 of ADIFF 16 we had ‘We Are Moving: Memories of Miss Moriarty’ in the Irish Film Institute which was part of Reel Art - an Arts Council Scheme designed to provide film artists with a unique opportunity to make highly creative, imaginative and experimental documentaries on an artistic theme. This was followed by a Q&A with director Claire Dix.

Day 9 kicked off with our last BAI Screentest: Explicit Content held in The Teachers’ Club. The panel comprised of Ger Connolly (IFCO) and Neil O’ Brien (BAI) who took an in-depth look at the various factors that must be applied to both film classification and content regulation for broadcasting

Powerscourt Centre and The Dublin Georgian Society play host to a photography exhibition: Patrick Redmond, 25 Years which began on the 23rd February. Photos of celebrities including Tilda Swinton, Liam Neeson and Tom Hardy can be seen at the exhibition. 

Finally Day 9 saw the sold out Arnotts Gala screening of Time Out Of Mind take over The Savoy Cinema with special guest Richard Gere in attendance.
