JDIFF & StudioCanal to present Irish Premiere of “Sightseers” – 20 Nov 2012

To celebrate the sale of Early Bird Season Tickets, The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival has teamed up with StudioCanal to present an exclusive screening of Ben Wheatley’s hilarious new film SIGHTSEERS in the Light House cinema on Tues 20th November at 18.00. The film will be introduced by the director Ben Wheatley (Down Terrace, Kill List) and cast and co-writers Alice Lowe and Steve Oram who will be taking part in a post screening Q&A.

The film is a British black comedy thriller which follows Chris (Steve Oram) taking his girlfriend Tina (Alice Lowe) on a journey in his beloved Abby Oxford Caravan to show her his world. However, their dream holiday takes a turn for the worst, sending Chris over the edge and leading him to deal with anyone who rubs him up the wrong way very severely! Click here to see trailer.

The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival 2013 will run from 14th - 24th February 2013, Early Bird Season Tickets are now available here at a rate of €195. This ticket gives the holder the opportunity to watch an unlimited amount of the best in Irish and international cinema with advanced booking, as well as walk the red carpet with the stars and attend after-show parties.
