The Farthest Wins the AUDI-ence Award at ADIFF17

The 2017 AUDI-ence award went to the documentary film The Farthest. The prestigious AUDI-ence award is chosen entirely by the festival audience.

Emer Reynolds' new documentary feature about the Voyager Space Mission, and its team, wowed audiences in Savoy 1 on the final day of the festival. Produced by John Murray and Clare Stronge for Crossing the Line Productions, the screening received a standing ovation reception at its sold-out world premiere. The winning filmmakers will be treated by Audi to a VIP festival experience at the Berlin International Film Festival 2018.

The screening was followed by a panel discussion with director Emer Reynolds, John Casani (Voyager Project Manager in 1977) and producers John Murray and Clare Stronge.

Emer Reynolds, director of the winning film The Farthest said "On behalf of the whole team, I am delighted and humbled to receive this award. Screening the film to a Dublin audience was the most incredible experience and for them to honour us like this is out of this world!"
