Marketing Executive Taking place 3 – 14 March 2021, the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival is Ireland’s premier film festival event. The Festival curates and presents the best in emerging international and Irish film for a wide audience through its annual festival. In 2021, the Festival will present a hybrid festival with films screened in cinemas, outdoors and online. Job Description Reporting to the head of Development & Marketing, the Marketing Executive will work with the wider Marketing team to deliver the Festival marketing strategy. This position will be focused on traditional marketing, working closely with the Festival’s PR team, media partners and filmmakers to engage audiences for the 2021 Festival. Start Date: Immediate End Date: 19 March 2021 Location: Remote working due to Covid-19 restrictions until the Festival period in late Feb Salary: €500 per week Responsibilities Implement marketing strategy and a ticketing strategy to meet the Festival’s 2021 targets, with specific attention paid to advance sales, bundled sales and season tickets Ensure full and comprehensive promotion of the festival, the call to action for ticket sales and implementation of the marketing strategy Work with the Press team to ensure integrated marketing and press activity Liase with media partners including print, radio and digital on ATL and BTL partnerships Liase with distributors, studios and filmmakers on marketing assets. Adhere to brand guidelines and appropriate use of all film assets Coordinate and plan DIFF TV Schedule and team to create Festival marketing content Work with the Festival Director, marketing and publicity teams, on audience development plans with a particular focus on new audiences, older age groups and families/young people Identify and grow specific audience strands to drive ticket sales via embassies and cultural partners, media partners etc. Coordinate with Embassies & Cultural Institutes on audience development Ensure maximum exposure of the festival’s own branding in conjunction with the title sponsor’s, Platinum and Gold Level Sponsors’ branding and advertising campaign and to ensure that the optimum balance between both is maintained Essential skills / experience Minimum 2 years experience in a marketing role Experience working with a range of stakeholders Strong copywriting & communication skills Performance analytics and reporting How to apply Send a cv and cover letter outlining your experience for the role to [email protected] with 'Marketing Executive' in the Subject Line.
