Print Transport Manager Taking place 3 – 14 March 2021, the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival is Ireland’s premier film festival event. The Festival curates and presents the best in emerging international and Irish film for a wide audience through its annual festival. In 2021, the Festival will present a hybrid festival with films screened in cinemas, outdoors and online. Job: Print Transport Start Date: December 7th 2020 End Date: March 19th 2021 Salary: €600 per week Job Description Liaise with Festival Director on programme content. Ensure the timely delivery of all feature films, short films and trailers in the correct format. Test all content is compatible the platforms being used, eg cinema projection, drive-in projection and online transmission. Liaise with Finance Officer and Managing Director on budgets and accounting. Responsibilities Arrange delivery & take receipt of all films in all formats Ensure all filmmakers have clear communication on formats and timings Test all content to ensure it is fully compatible with the platform Set up the film schedule with the programming team Liaise with the Finance Officer and Managing Director on screening fees and invoices Manage courier costs and remain within budget Ensure all billing is finalised at the end of festival and all accounts handed over to Finance Officer Liaise with Digital Festival Manager to ensure content loaded Liaise with venues to ensure films are fully tested Liaise with programming team to ensure fulfilment of contractual agreement Return all films to distributors and film makers Essential skills 5 years experience in print transport and digital projection Highly technical skilled and computer literate Good communication skills Understanding of confidentiality Hard working team player Ability to take the initiative How to apply Send a cv and cover letter outlining your experience for the role to [email protected] with the Subject Line 'Print Transport Manager'.
