Set Up Your Device

All you need to know in order to set up your device and join the Online Festival!

  • If you have Apple TV (generation 4 or above), download the “Eventive TV” app from the  App Store, accessible via your TV. When you open the app for the first time you’ll see an activation code.
  • Go to watch.eventive.org/tv, on your laptop or phone and use the code to connect your account. You’ll still need to unlock content through your laptop or phone, but - when you’re ready to watch it - you’ll find all your unlocked content on the app.
  • Please note: due to ongoing issues with Eventive and Roku, we do not recommend using Roku to watch festival films

  • If you have a smart TV enabled with AirPlay or Chromecast, set your computer, mobile device or browser to “AirPlay” or “cast” to the TV device.
  • Unlock the program on Eventive Virtual, then set your player window to full-screen using the icon at the lower right.

  • You can also directly connect a laptop or computer using an HDMI cable.
  • If you experience any issue with the screening: test your Device Compatibility or visit the Festival FAQs.
  • Still having problems viewing your film - find more help here
