This is a truly epic ending to Ireland’s premier film festival. For the first time, Dublin International Film Festival (DIFF) presents its Closing Night Gala from Dublin’s iconic Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.

The 11-day festival will close in true Hollywood style with a landmark World Premiere from acclaimed Director John Carney (Sing Street, Once), with the film’s stars Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas in attendance.

The story follows Rick (Paul Rudd), a past-his-prime wedding singer, who crosses paths with Danny (Nick Jonas), a fading boyband star, during a gig. Bonding over music and a late-night jam session, the two strike up an unlikely friendship. However, when Rick and Danny return to their respective worlds, they discover that this chance encounter will upend both their lives in very different ways.
