DIFF x Culture Night 2025 at IMMA
Presented in partnership with Living Canvas at IMMA
For Culture Night 2025, we were very excited to partner with IMMA to present a specially curated programme of short films on the Living Canvas screen, a collaboration between IMMA and IPUT Real Estate.
This vibrant selection showcased fantastical and offbeat stories, each centring on child protagonists.
The films—featuring work by Sarah Benson, Dan Holmwood, James Naughton, Liam LoPinto, Deither Kirby Jay, Jessie Lopez, Jack Kirwan, Eabha Bortolozzo, and Allyn Quigley—span Irish and international voices, with live action and animation drawn from recent DIFF editions.
The result was a lively, imaginative glimpse into the range and creativity of DIFF’s celebrated shorts programme!
We're so grateful to everyone who braved the rain to celebrate this special selection with us.

I love how Culture Night brings people together through art and shared experiences at IMMA. After reading about creative events like this, I enjoy Subway Surfers which offers a fun escape with fast-paced runs and exciting challenges.
It’s worth testing a username by saying it out loud and checking that it’s easy to type. I sometimes use a name generator for inspiration, then adjust the result so it feels more personal and less generic.
With fast-paced action, unexpected shots, and intense matchups, Basketball Stars delivers an engaging and entertaining basketball experience where every game can produce a memorable moment—keeping players eager to come back for more.
The part that caught my attention is how the films are described as strange, imaginative, and a little unexpected. That playful feeling can easily turn darker, which is what makes horror games fun when familiar ideas suddenly take an unsettling turn.
If you enjoy fast arcade racing games, Smash Karts Game offers a fun experience where players can drive through creative arenas while battling opponents for first place.
